Paying for Your Doula

I accept most insurance plans in Oregon and some in Washington. If your plan covers doula care, I may be able to bill your insurance directly, or you can pay for services and receive a superbill to submit for reimbursement.

Coverage and billing requirements vary by plan. I’m happy to contact your insurance company to help clarify your benefits and any potential out-of-pocket costs. Reimbursement is subject to your plan’s coverage and is not guaranteed.

I proudly accept TriWest and TRICARE coverage for eligible doula services.

If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you may be able to use those funds toward doula services. Some plans allow you to pay directly with your HSA/FSA card, while others may require you to pay upfront and submit a superbill for reimbursement.

I recommend checking with your plan administrator ahead of time so you know what documentation they need and how the payment should be processed.

I am willing to consider sliding scale for families that do not meet medicaid threshold but need a bit of support.

I was a single mamma for many years and I understand financial struggles.

I will consider at-service-payment option or reduced Doula support to make this possible for you.

I am a contracted provider with Washington Medicaid (Apple Health/ State Insurance).

If you are covered under Apple Health, there is no out-of-pocket cost for doula care.
