Available Doula Services 

We will take some time to discuss  your wishes and wants. What information do you need from me? How does your birth plan look or would you like to create a birth plan together? How can I best support you, what are you looking for in a doula? What are your preferences, your vision, your history, your love language, your triggers?

Connecting with your family before the birth helps foster a bond and a clearer understanding of your desires for the birth.

Mama's needs are my top priority but I am here for the whole family. 

Based on your insurance or the plan we create together, I generally provide 1 or 2 prenatal visits. These sessions can take various forms, such as accompanying you to doctor appointments, support accessing social services, packing a hospital bag, or establishing a plan for your postnatal period. We will discuss birthing positions, stages of labor and which positions work well in different situations. I'm happy to meal prep, meet your providers or set up a nursery... We could even draft a letter to your family outlining your preferences post birth.
Prenatal care looks different for everyone.

**Please keep in mind that state insurance plans typically offer more visits than most insurance providers so this is a general estimate of what you can expect.

**Also, please note that depending on your insurance you may qualify for additional visits. For clients paying out-pocket, I usually provide 1 or 2 appointments and we can create aa plan that works well for your family as we go. 

I am here to support your unique birth experience—physically, emotionally, and informationally.  

Birth support is unique to every birthing person.

I cannot make medical decisions for you, but I can advocate for you and remind you of your goals. 

Physically, lets talk hip squeezes, counter pressure, rebozos, slings, balls, the miles circuit, reminders to change position. Reiterating and explanation of what your nurses told you, hydration, snacks, laughs, baths and breath.

Emotionally holding space in the most sacred time in your life, your witness, your bridge. 

I find myself deeply connected to my clients in order to gain an understanding of their changing needs in these moments. Birth support is unique and thats why I love it. What works for you may be the opposite of what your sister would  want. Some women want all the care and snuggles, other women only want verbal affirmation. You get what you need from me or I do my best to find a way to make it happen.

Oh, and yes! - People do hire birth doulas for support during Cesarean births.
I am also here and able to provide support through still birth and D&C if needed.

Postpartum can feel overwhelming. I’m here to support you and hold your hand as you get to know your baby—and yourself in this new chapter.

Postpartum follow-up visits offer space to reflect on your birth experience, ask questions, and receive support during your recovery. Each visit is tailored to your family’s needs, whether that means feeding support, emotional reassurance, or help finding your footing together.

The number of visits depends on your care package and insurance coverage. Self-pay clients typically receive one to two visits, and some insurance plans cover additional care.

Unlimited Phone, Text, and Email Support - Available from your hire date through six weeks postpartum, with 24-hour on-call support starting at 38 weeks and until delivery (special arrangements can be made for twins or high-risk pregnancies).
